ABOUT US
Croatian Society for Fundamental Physics (HDFF) is nonoccupational association dedicated to critical promotion of new ideas, knowledge and understanding of the Universe and life within it, through companionship and active participation in organization of popular lectures, seminars and debate tables and workshops, and organization of conferences. Postulations of fundamental physics are the basis for deep understanding of the logical functionality of the Universe and as such should be in an acceptable manner accessible to everyone, not just a narrow group of specialized scientists and experts.
The goal and mission of the HDFF are to gather as many interested members of various professions and occupations as possible, particularly young people and those outside the scientific institutions, which have their own ideas and critical thinking about the Universe, the forces of nature, matter and the origin of life.
The purpose of founding of the HDFF is an attempt to make science of the Universe accessible to everyone who is interested in this field of scientific cognition, and not dare to argue about it publicly.
Vision of the HDFF is to establish the Center for Fundamental Physics (CFF), where one would critically examine the foundations on which our present conception of the Universe in which we live rests.
Activity of the HDFF occurs through the sections founded by the members of the Society according to issues and topics on the Universe for which they are particularly interested in, such as space research, models of the Universe, relativity, gravity, black holes, dark matter, dark energy and so on…
