About us

The Association of Croatian Civil Engineering Faculties is the association of all civil engineering faculties that use Croatian as the official language in the education cycle and are registered in the Republic of Croatia or abroad. At the initiative of the Faculty of Civil Engineering Osijek, the association was established on 20 June 2008 in Rijeka, and Mladen Radujković, Ph.D., from the Faculty of Civil Engineering Zagreb, was elected its first president.

The association consists of the following members:

Mission
The mission of the UHGF is to promote and advance the civil engineering profession and professions related to it by joint efforts of Croatian civil engineering faculties with the aim of providing high quality of scientific, educational and professional activities recognizable and reputable in the international labour and services market.

Vision
By bringing together leading scientists, teachers and experts in the field of civil engineering and related scientific and professional fields, UHGF actively participates in the development of the profession through joint consideration of all important issues, exchange of knowledge and experiences, and cooperation with similar international associations. In this way, the association becomes a dependable entity and point of confluence of relevant professional information for all its members, but also for other interested organizations and individuals.
